Designing a distinct visual identity for Idorsia’s Medical Affairs team to enhance recognition at global congresses
Read case study
Challenge
As Idorsia’s Medical Affairs team took shape, they needed a distinct yet cohesive visual identity for their communications and events. The challenge was to create a recognisable, ownable brand that aligned with Idorsia’s corporate identity while standing out as a specialised arm of the business. With the American Academy of Neurology congress approaching, there was a need for a strong, well-executed presence in a short timeframe.
Approach
I worked closely with Idorsia’s Medical Affairs team to develop a visual identity that balanced consistency with the company’s established branding while ensuring clear differentiation. A new logo lockup was designed to integrate Medical Affairs and multiple therapeutic areas, creating a flexible system for future applications.
In parallel, I designed an exhibition booth for use at major congresses, starting with AAN, ensuring the space reflected the new identity while enhancing engagement with attendees. Despite tight timelines, we successfully implemented the identity across additional communication materials, ensuring a unified brand presence.
impact
The new identity provided Idorsia’s Medical Affairs team with a distinct, professional, and scalable visual system that reinforced their expertise within the organisation. The booth debuted successfully at AAN, setting the stage for a continued presence at global events. The rollout across wider communication materials ensured long-term consistency and strengthened Idorsia’s position as a leader in scientific exchange within their therapeutic areas.
